A system supporting a museum based on a fictional character.

The Susuwatari Museum is dedicated to the mythical creatures created by director Hayao Miyazaki. More common names for Susuwatari include soot gremlins, dust bunnies, and soot sprites. The black fuzzy haired creatures exist only when they have a purpose and are conjured from soot. They are tennis ball sized, with two large eyes and long thin legs. Also, they move quickly from light to dark, can hover, and lift objects many times their weight.

"But when you suddenly move from a lighted room to a dark one, you can't see for a second, and that's when the dust bunnies come out."

The light/dark, precence/absence aspect surrounding the Susuwatari is the overall theme for the museum components that include outdoor signage, bathroom signage, and floor ID.
